Do you need help after a natural disaster?

EmergencyRV provides RVs to families, veterans, and first responders who have lost their homes to natural disasters through two programs depending on your situation. In some cases an RV is donated outright to a survivor family. In most cases, particularly when a family is actively rebuilding their home on their own land, EmergencyRV loans the RV as transitional housing until the rebuild is complete.

If you or someone you know has lost their home to a natural disaster, EmergencyRV provides free RVs to families, veterans, and first responders in need. Learn more below on how to apply.

Who Qualifies for an EmergencyRV?

EmergencyRV provides donated or loaned RVs to:

  • An Individual or Families who have been suddenly displaced by natural disasters including wildfires, hurricanes, tornadoes, and floods

  • Veterans who have lost their homes due to a natural disaster

  • First responders including law enforcement, EMTs, firefighters, and military personnel

We prioritize veterans and first responders because they dedicate their lives to protecting others. But no family in crisis is turned away. If you have lost your home and have nowhere to go, we want to hear from you.

Who Does Not Qualify for an EmergencyRV?

We receive more requests than we are able to fulfill and we want to be transparent about who we are best equipped to serve.

The following situations fall outside of our current scope of service:

  • Economic hardship or financial distress

  • Job loss or income related housing instability

  • General homelessness or housing insecurity not related to a natural disaster

  • Domestic violence situations

  • Single structure house fires not related to a broader natural disaster event

  • Displacement related to the COVID-19 pandemic

  • Individuals or families who secured housing after a disaster but later lost that housing for reasons unrelated to the original disaster event

We understand that hardship comes in many forms and that every situation is unique. If you are unsure whether you qualify we encourage you to fill out our intake form and our team will review your situation personally. If we are not able to help we will do our best to connect you with resources that can.
