EmergencyRV Is On The Ground In Georgia
The Highway 82 and Pineland Road wildfires have been contained after burning through 22,000 acres of Brantley County. The flames are out, but for the more than 120 families who lost their homes, their recovery is just beginning.
What these families faced was compounded by a devastating reality, that this fire never received a federal Major Disaster Declaration which is the only thing that unlocks direct FEMA aid to families. So while the fire crews fought the flames, they had nowhere to turn to start the process of rebuilding their lives.
EmergencyRV showed up. Our team mobilized quickly, families were matched, and to date 18 RVs have been delivered to wildfire survivors. And yet the work continues because recovery does not happen overnight and many families are still searching for safe shelter.
None of this would have been possible without the extraordinary hands, hearts, and organizations that came alongside us every step of the way. This is our way of saying thank you.

Happy Days RV in Kingsland has generously opened their land as our staging ground. They have given us the space to receive, organize, and prepare our RVs before the final leg of each delivery. Their generosity and logistical support has been invaluable and we are so thankful for their willingness to be part of this mission.
When disaster strikes, finding the right families and making sure help reaches those who need it most is a mission in itself. Emerge Ministries is a Christ-centered nonprofit devoted to serving communities in need and has been our boots-on-the-ground partner in Brantley County. They have made it possible for us to show up for the right people at the right time.
The team at Beckson Solutions spent hours cleaning each RV making sure every corner was sanitized, and every detail was ready. Their meticulous, compassionate work means that every family we serve walks into something that feels safe and cared for.
Johnny and Aaron have done an incredible job inspecting and repairing the RVs so they are ready for the survivors who need them the most.
